Located just 200 metres from bustling Termini station, the building's late 19th century 'Umbertino' style is continued in the renovated interior of the Bettoja Hotel Massimo D'Azeglio, maintaining a turn-of-the-century feel thanks to traditional furnishings and extensive art collection. With polished, hardwood floors and wall panels, high ceilings and heavy wooden furniture, the decor in the air-conditioned guestrooms are also evocative of the 1900s. Rome Fiumicino airport is 35 kilometres and about a 45 minute journey from the hotel. A local train service runs between the airport terminal and Termini station in central Rome. The hotel is about a 100-metre walk from the station's main exit along Via Cavour. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs around 50 EUR. The hotel can arrange private transfers if contacted in advance.
