The intimate hotel is named after the architectural style that inspired some of Rome's most breathtaking squares and monuments. In the elegant foyer, guests will find sofas covered in beige and orange-striped damask, Oriental rugs on the floor, and trompe l'oeil scenes of classical Rome on the walls. Soft floral materials in shades of blue and red, cherry- wood furnishings and marble dominate the hotel's interior, further embellished by antique prints and 19th- century oil paintings featuring floral compositions, landscapes and Turkish scenes. Guests may peruse Franco Caruso's antique books bound in vellum and leather, which he unearthed in bookstores across Italy throughout the years.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
There is an express train service every 30 minutes to Rome's Termini train station (journey time 30 minutes). A single ticket costs around 10 EUR. From here take the metro to Piazza Barberini. Taxis are readily available at the airport, but take a licensed metered taxi only. An airport surcharge is payable. A taxi to the city centre will cost 50-60 EUR.
