Set in an historical building that has been carefully restored to modern standards, the Grand Hotel Palazzo Carpenga is located in the Villa Carpegna Park, 3.5 kilometers from the Vatican City. DRIVING DIRECTIONS
At the airport, trains are available every 30 minutes to the Roma Termini Railway Station. From Roma Termini, guests should take metro A in direction Battistini and stop at Cornelia Station.
From Rome Fiumicino Airport follow directions for Grande Raccordo Anulare and take exit number 1 direction Aurelio Vatican City. After the exit, follow the road Via Aurelia for approximately 5 kilometers. The hotel is on the right hand side before Piazza Irnerio.
The Metro system connects the hotel with the rest of central Rome within 20 minutes. The closest Metro station to the hotel is Cornelia (3 minutes walking; three metro stops to Vatican Museums and 4 to the Vatican).
